This guide covers the step-by-step installation process for Sedans & SUVs 2009–2019 using the OBD module. You’ll follow the correct two-step sequence, understand what each on-screen/indicator message means during the process, and know exactly when to send the LOGFILE if the installation is interrupted.
Before you begin installing the module, it’s recommended that you thoroughly read through these instructions several times. This will help you avoid mistakes and ensure a smoother installation process.
Your package contains a single module. A microSD card is already inserted in the module, which includes the following:
Before proceeding with the module installation, you must complete the following REQUIRED steps:
Fill DEF to 100%. If your tank is around 70–90%, top it off to full. Do not overfill to the neck. If it’s overfilled, the ultrasonic level sensor can read incorrectly.
IMPORTANT! Fully charge the vehicle’s battery. If possible, run the engine for 30 minutes.
If your vehicle cannot start due to a DEF/AdBlue block, use a 40A battery charger connected for at least 1 hour. For smaller chargers (3–5 amps), charging for 24 hours will be necessary. Please follow your Battery Charger’s instructions for proper use.
You will need to insert the module into the OBD2 port two times, selecting the appropriate script from your radio screen each time.
The module’s menu is navigated using the << and >> radio buttons to switch between scripts, and the * (star) button on the number pad to confirm your choice.
Once you select the script, a loading bar will appear on the screen. Follow the instructions on the screen. After successful installation, you will see messages like “Successfully finished…” and “Remove the module now!!!”
If the installation is interrupted, you will see an “Exception, read the LOGFILE” message. To identify the issue, we will need to review the LOGFILE.LOG stored on the microSD inside the module.
Use a computer and a microSD reader to access the file and send it via email, WhatsApp, or any other preferred method.
The module installation is now complete. Start the engine. If the Check Engine light appears on the dashboard, this is normal. To clear this error, you need to disable the SCR block.
