Explains when a full refund applies and what conditions must be met to qualify. It also clarifies why an unsuccessful first attempt doesn’t automatically mean the solution “doesn’t work,” and what limitations exist when vehicle faults are involved.
We want your installation to succeed — and in most cases it does — but we also keep the refund rules clear and fair. This page explains when a full refund is available, what we need from you to diagnose the case, and what situations fall outside the scope of a software-only solution.
If installation doesn’t succeed on the first attempt, it doesn’t automatically mean the solution “doesn’t work.” We diagnose the situation and provide recommendations first.
A full refund is available if:
We are responsible for software selection, module functionality, and supporting the installation process.
Software cannot “fix” a vehicle if there is a mechanical or electrical fault preventing the system from operating correctly.
If there are emissions-system-related faults (for example: stuck EGR/EKAS components, no communication with the SCR control unit, wiring shorts/damage, etc.), those issues may need to be repaired to complete installation successfully and to operate the vehicle reliably.
If there are faults not related to emissions systems (MAF, EGT, O2, turbo boost issues, fuel system issues, etc.), the software will not make the vehicle “run normally” — those problems also require repair.
If the vehicle has a non-standard configuration (engine/module swaps, wiring modifications, third-party tuning, etc.), additional verification may be required and support may take more time to coordinate the next steps.
